SAGACITY is an artist-run space located in Molenbeek, at close quarters with central Brussels. It aims at displaying heterogeneous artistic projects and collaborations by assigning production conditions, residencies and an exhibition surface for artists and curators. We are receptive to protean thinking and pursue a manifolded programme that embodies visual arts, performances, artist-books, sound, fashion, design, lectures.

 

Initially created in  2000 as a non-profit association that worked within an artist studio, Sagacity focused on the development of 7x7 collaborative project between Jean-Pierre Muller, Archie Shepp, Robert Wyatt, Sean O'Hagan, Mulatu Astake, Kassin, Nile Rodgers and Terry Riley. In 2016, the studio has extended to the ground floor of the same location and has broaden its objectives furthermore towards the young artist programme operated by Maria-Krisztina Nagy.
